Video & Filmmaking
Video and filmmaking are relatively new forms of expression for me, but ones I’m becoming increasingly passionate about and hope to keep developing in the humanitarian field.
All content found on this page has been produced, filmed & edited by myself, with the exception of "The Laiza Hotel" by Ryan Libre (see below).

"The Laiza Hotel" - Ryan Libre
"The Laiza Hotel" is a feature documentary film by artist, filmmaker and director Ryan Libre over 15 years in the liberated areas of the Kachin Independence Organization in Northern Burma.
It is an intimate journey through an emerging ethnic nation on the rise.
"The Laiza Hotel" is designed to bring viewers experientially to the front lines of
the active conflict & the mass displacement, but also to the front lines
of a cultural renaissance of an emergent ethnic state, building itself,
throughout three generations of civil war.
I spent 6 months working with Ryan Libre and Studio Sakse, and contributed to the post-production and editing of the film, providing an outside eye and feedback to both the technical aspects and narrative of the project.
